Ajax Hotspurs captain Memory "Yaya Toure" Sibanda has vowed that Ajax Hotspurs will never be relagated from Zifa Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Division 2 and has promised to fight tooth and nail for the badge.
In a wide ranging interview with Ajax Hotspurs news, Yaya was adamant that the club he loves so much and has it in his heart will ever be relegated.
"Bro Mina i am at Ajax because of the love of the badge. I have the team at heart. I dream sleep at eat Ajax Hotspurs. I love the badge, i love the club from the bottom of my heart, i will fight for this badge, i will make sure the boys are guided accordingly so that they mature in a proper way. Everyone can confess that these boys have been playing well. Its just that they haven't been lucky in front of goal and that shows their lack of maturity hence our reason for so many drawn matches."
When being reminded that the season was moving into the halfway mark and it was time they proved their pedigree of face the reality of a dreaded chop Yaya was not apologetic and stuck by his stance that the Mpopoma based side was talent laden and will come through their tough times to prove to all and sundry that Ajax Hotspurs is a big institution that is now ready to stand the test of time.
"Look man we have a vibrant junior policy that is a backbone of our continuity. The likes of Magayiva, Dougie, Sotsha and abo Mawie are a promising talent. Already Diof, Machisa, Smaller, Thabani and Thuske have shown a lot of promise so what can stop us wre actually have the potential to finish in top five. The boys just need that self belief," said Yaya
Indeed Ajax Hotspurs have been finding it hard to hit the back of the net this season yet they have been solid at the back letting in just a few goals. Time will tell whether this institution has what it takes to stand the test of time.
