Warriors winger Kuda Mahachi's chances of impressing at French giants AS Monaco have received a major boost after he was included in the squad that left France on Saturday for a training camp in Klagenfurt, Austria.
It is however not clear if the 20-year-old would be part of the squad that proceeds to United States of America on 16 July for the Copa EuroAmericana where Monaco are scheduled to play Atletico Junior and Atletico Nacional.
Mahachi increased his chances of getting into new Portuguese coach Leonardo Jardim by scoring in a practice match on Friday.
With Monaco already listening to offers for midfield sensation James Rodriguez, Mahachi could be a direct replacement to the winger if he leaves this European summer.
"Good news for the youngster is that the French giants will be taking him along for their pre-season camp to Austria, and if he continues performing well, might well earn himself a contract," said his parent club Mamelodi Sundowns on their official website.
If he earns a contract at Stade Louis II Stadium will see his club Mamelodi Sundowns enormously benefiting from the move before he even kicks a ball for them.
