DYNAMOS' total dominance of their bitter rivals Highlanders came to the fore during Bosso's extra-ordinary general meeting held at the team's clubhouse in Bulawayo yesterday.

Responding to a Highlanders member Arthur Maphosa who suggested that the team needs to perform some serious rituals before playing Dynamos, Highlanders chairman Peter Dube said Bosso would continue preparing normally for Dynamos just as they do with the other 15 teams in the league.

Maphosa had raised his concerns over Highlanders' continued fall at the hands of Dynamos. Bosso have now gone for eight years without registering a win over DeMbare.

"Surely we need to do something about this, we cannot continue losing to Dynamos year-in and year-out, sekuyangisa lokhu. I think it's now in the minds of the players that Dynamos will always beat us, let us as a club do something to change that mindset because to some of us it's not worth celebrating the league title if we would have failed to beat Dynamos," said Maphosa to a rousing response from the few members that attended yesterday's meeting.

Highlanders have earned themselves the "DeMbare's bridesmaid" tag as they have continued to fall to the Harare giants even when Dynamos are at their worst like now.

They have already fallen twice this season, in the Bob90 Super Cup and league encounter.

However, Dube feels there is nothing special about the Dynamos encounter and his troops will continue preparing for the match in exactly the same way they do for other teams.

In fact Dube feels they have been over preparing for the match.

"Yes, we have been engaging experts once in a while to psyche up the boys, not necessarily for the Dynamos match because I don't think they are special. With regards to this year's encounter I personally feel we probably over prepared for them," said Dube.

He nevertheless expressed his regret and disappointment over the DeMbare dominance.

Meanwhile, Dube informed members that the much awaited bus from Nyaradzo Funeral Services had since been bought and branded with the club colours.

He said minor contractual clauses remained and very soon, the bus would be delivered to 50 Robert Mugabe Way, the Highlanders offices.

"Others have since received their buses but as Highlanders, we want to do things in a more professional way that will leave both the club, the sponsor and the donor fully satisfied and protected," said Dube.

In other issues, Dube told members that Orap donated a total of 120 development balls that could only be used for juniors' training and not matches.
