FORMER Highlanders and Bantu Rovers defender, Zephaniah Ngodzo nearly assaulted Bantu Rovers' secretary-general Wilbert Sibanda for refusing to clear him so he can move to his boyhood club Highlanders.
According to Soccer24, Bosso are understood to have offered Ngodzo a monthly salary of $700 and at Bantu Rovers Ngodzo is understood to be earning around half of that amount.
"There was a near fist fight between Ngodzo and Wilbert Sibanda. Ngodzo got a better offer from Bosso in terms of salary and he is happy with it. He certainly wants out and wants to join Bosso," a source close to the club.
Reports suggest that Bosso are targeting the return of former skipper Gilbert Banda, Ngodzo or Brighton Dube before the mid-season transfer window closes on Thursday to fill the gap of right-back position which has remained problematic.
