Zimbabwe Sables defeated Uganda in a match at Bulawayo's home of rugby, Hartsfield Grounds yesterday.
This is Zimbabwe Sable's third consecutive win in the triangular that also includes defending champions Kenya as they beat Uganda 25-15 in the first leg before seeing off the challenge of Kenya 42-24 last weekend.
Wing Gardner Nechironga and prop Denford Mutamangira were a menace to the Ugandans, planting two tries each. Tangai Nemadire, lock Fortune Chipendo and Cleopas Makotose contributed a try each.
After managing to score four tries, the mighty Zimbabwe Sables got themselves a bonus points to help them accumulate 14 points in the series.
Their next match is away to Nairobi, Kenya for the return leg of the tournament on July 23 and they go into the second leg having defeated the Kenyans 42-24 in the first leg.
