Rahman Gumbo linked to Bosso job

HIGHLANDERS have thanked former coach Kelvin Kaindu for "devout dedication" to duty as they prepare for a new life without the Zambian.
The Bulawayo giants parted ways with Kaindu last week and the coach became the eighth PSL gaffer not to last the 2014 campaign.
Rahman Gumbo, Masuku, Philani Ncube and Mandla Mpofu have been some of the names that have been linked with replacing Kaindu.
Mark Mathe who was assistant to Kaindu will be caretaker coach until the rest of the season.
"Highlanders Football Club takes this opportunity to thank Kelvin Kaindu for his exemplary behaviour, astute leadership qualities, wise counselling and devout dedication to duty.
"We wish him all the success in his future endeavours and know that, to steal his words, 'It shall be well'," reads part of the statement released by the club.
Kaindu was at Highlanders for the past three years after replacing Mkhupali Masuku.
With six games to go before the season ends, he left club at position four on the log standings but seven points behind leaders Dynamos and the gap can be attributed to failure to win their last three games.
Highlanders are also in the Chibuku Super Cup semi-finals.
Kaindu's biggest achievement was leading the club to last year's Mabada Diamonds Cup edition.
