HIGHLANDERS forward Charles Sibanda has given the clearest indication that he might be on his way out of the club when his contract expires in December.
Speaking to The Herald after their 0-4 defeat at the hands of CAPS United, Sibanda said he is yet to decide his future, but it is highly likely that he will not be returning to Bosso.
"I am at Highlanders and we discussed the issue of my contract, but nothing has materialised," said Sibanda.
"I don't think I will renew the current contract. I have to move on if things are not working well for me. I am yet to sign a new contract and we have to sit down with the club as I had a one-year contract.
"I am happy that I managed to score crucial goals for the club. I have been working very hard with the team. It has not been easy because when I came to Highlanders there were serious concerns about the team's lack of strikers.
"I am happy that we have been working well as a team and I have managed to deliver."
Sibanda, a product of the Highlanders juniors, has been linked with a move to Dynamos.
He only returned to Highlanders this year after a number of seasons in Harare and Zvishavane.
He has been arguably the best player at Bosso this year, scoring a number of vital goals for the club, but his relationship with the fans hasn't always been good.
After scoring a goal in the Chibuku Super Cup quarter-finals, Sibanda appeared to mock the fans, suggesting that they shut up, for targeting him during a barren run.
Bosso have a battle to keep their place, among the top four teams in the league championship race, after their big defeat at the hands of the Green Machine.
A Top Four finish would give Bosso the ticket to play in the Mbada Diamonds Cup at the end of the season.
The Bulawayo giants, though, still have a chance of winning silverware this season as they are in the semi-finals of the Chibuku Super Cup.
Bosso have a date against Harare City, in the semi-finals, at Rufaro on Sunday.
Sibanda and his teammates have failed to score, in the league, on three previous visits to the capital in matches against Harare City, CAPS United and Dynamos.
The last time that Bosso faced the Sunshine City Boys, at Rufaro in a league match, they suffered a 0-1 defeat.
