Newly promoted premier league side, Tsholotsho FC have resolved to use White City stadium in Bulawayo for their home matches in the 2015 premiership season after the local authority failed to build a suitable stadium on time.

The club's chairman, Mlamuli Phiri told reporters that plans to have a home stadium are still underway, adding that premiership action might come to Tsholotsho by the start of the second half of the season.

Phiri said the construction of ablution facilities at the new ground is 75 percent complete while the playing field has been levelled and ready for lawn planting.

The development however means that Tsholotsho FC players will be travelling 118 kilometres to play their home matches.

Initially the club had hinted that they might use Hwange's Colliery stadium which is 287 kilometres away.

Meanwhile, the team has intensified preparations for the new season with a training camp at Fairbridge Police Station in Bulawayo under the watchful eye of Sithethelelwe 'Kwinji 15' Sibanda, as the head coach Lizwe Sweswe is attending a CAF licence course in Harare.
