Goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini could be heading back to South African Premiership side Platinum Stars depending on the outcome of talks between his agent and the Rustenburg-based club. There we reports that Kapini could be headed back to Highlanders FC after parting ways with Amazulu FC.

The Zimbabwean goalkeeper - who is now a free agent after parting ways with AmaZulu - says that he is open to the possibility of returning to Dikwena.

Kapini also denies he is engaged in talks with Polokwane City, describing such reports as baseless.

"I am not holding talks with Polokwane City. These are just rumours and this is not true. I am, however, looking at a number of other options that I might take," Kapini says.

Asked whether or not he might return to Platinum Stars, Kapini says: "My agent is handling that matter.

"He recently sent them [Platinum Stars] an e-mail and he is waiting for their response.

"The talks are taking place at that level; between my agent and the club so I cannot say more on the subject. There are also other clubs that we are communicating with."

Dikwena could opt for Kapini after they recently parted ways with Siyabonga Mpontshane, who is now on the books of Orlando Pirates.

Kapini, who now has a South African permanent residency permit, made 82 appearances for Dikwena between 2006 and 2011 before moving to AmaZulu.
