Bulawayo giants' Highlanders started the 2015 season on a wrong footing after they lost 2-nil to ZPC Kariba with reigning champions Dynamos making the day's biggest killing after scoring 3 past a hapless Buffaloes.

There were mixed fortunes for premiership giants with Highlanders falling to ZPC Kariba who fired the warning shots of a possible replication of their fairy tale like debut 2014 season.

While Bosso were succumbing to a defeat at Gwanzura, Harare giants Dynamos were running riot over Buffaloes with strikes by Simba Nhivi in the 12th minute, an own goal from Kudzai Mwaramba and an 83rd minute slotting by Walter Mukanga burying the Mutare-based outfit.

The first draw of the 2015 premiership season was also recorded at Mandava after a strong-willed Dongo Sawmills restricted FC Platinum to a 2-all draw.

Playing away from home, the Rusape-based premiership new boys Dongo certainly earned themselves respect after they almost ran away with the day had FC Platinum not come from behind to level matters.

At Luveve stadium, Chicken Inn kicked off their campaign in a high flying mode beating debutants Flame Lily 2-1.
