Highlanders 1 - 0 Hwange
Highlanders recorded their second victory of the season after beating Hwange 1-nil in a week three fixture played at Barbourfields stadium in Bulawayo Saturday afternoon.
Webster Chingodza rose to claim the glory for Highlanders in the 43rd minute after he headed home a cross from Bruce Kangwa to give Bulawayo giants Highlanders their second win of the 2015 premiership season.
Both teams had begun the affair offensively with Thomas Chideu coming close on several occasions while Welcome Ndiweni also sniffed the nets with an attempt in the 38th minute until Chingodza rose to bury his header two minutes from the breather.
Hwange had their first half attempts to break the nets coming through Evans Rusike in the 11th minute, Gilbert Zulu in the 14th minute, but all to no avail.
The second half remained a story of missed chances for both Chipangano and Highlanders.
Elsewhere it was yet another narrow 1-nil margin for Harare giants Dynamos as Ronald Chitiyo score a late goal in the 84th minute to give DeMbare a win over Dongo Saw Mill.
ZPC Kariba continued with its fine form dismissing Buffaloes 5-2 while Triangle beat Chapungu by three goals to zero.
Tsholotsho FC recorded their second defeat after losing 1-nil to Chicken Inn with prison side Wha Wha holding Harare City to a 1-all draw.
