Highlanders' chief executive officer, Ndumiso Gumede has dismissed rumours that the club has fired troubled coach- Bongani Mafu.
Gumede said the increasingly unpopular coach is still in charge.
The social media has been awash with rumours that Bosso has parted ways with Mafu.
Gumede said the club is holding a review meeting this evening.
"That is mere hearsay. Actually we are set to have our review meeting this evening.
"The meeting is meant to review and plan for our next assignments. Mafu is still in charge, social media is like that," said Gumede.
Speculation has been rife that the coach was given a target of 18 points after 10 matches, something he has failed to achieve as he finds himself on 14 points with four wins, two draws and four defeats.
It is now to be seen whether the Highlanders' leadership will choose between Mafu and a floundering league campaign.
