Dynamos midfielder Masimba Mambare's lawyers have approached the High Court to register an arbitration award against Highlanders Football Club for outstanding signing on fees for the player amounting to $10 000.
The arbitral award against Highlanders was handed down on the 9th of December last year and it required Bosso to pay US$10 000 within 30 days from the date of issuance.
According to Mambare's lawyers, the 30 days have lapsed and Highlanders Football Club have refused, failed or neglected to comply, hence the move to register it with the High Court for the purposes of enforcement in terms of Section 98(14) and (15) of the Labour Act Chapter 290;01.
Mambare and Highlanders entered into a contract from the 1st of March 2012 to the 31st of December 2013.
As part of the contractual agreement, Highlanders were supposed to pay $5 000 by the 30th of April and 2 payments of $2 500 by January 2013 and on the 30th of June 2013.
Highlanders did not make any payments but continued to make promises which were never fulfilled.
