BULAWAYO Premiership giants Highlanders could lose their newly-acquired luxury bus after their former midfielder Masimba Mambare won a writ of execution to attach property from the club yesterday.

Now playing for Dynamos, Mambare won his case at the High Court where he had taken his former club Bosso, seeking to recover $10 000 in signing on fees.

Mambare's lawyer Cathew Manyani said yesterday the court had ruled in their favour but they were willing to give Bosso a chance to settle the dues.

"The property has been attached but nothing has been taken away from the club's premises as of now,

"We are still open to negotiations with the club and it is our aim to reach an amicable solution.

"I think a best solution should be found and we do not intend to punish the football club, but we want them to respect the rights of the footballers.

"So far we have not reached any agreement but I am sure something will be worked out since I have been talking to club vice-chairman Mgcini Mpofu," said Manyani.

Among the property said to have been attached are two buses, including the recently purchased Marco Polo which was commissioned by Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa last month. An old mini bus was also attached while Mambare could also go for office equipment, three computer sets, filing cabinets and office chairs.
