Bosso fighting to tie down Mutizwa

HIGHLANDERS Football club are making frantic efforts to hand chief striker Knox Mutizwa a contract extension before the expiry of his current contract on December 31.
This was revealed by Highlanders chairman Peter Dube on Thursday during a press conference which saw Bongani Mafu
parting ways with the club and the dramatic comeback of veteran coach Cosmas "Tsano" Zulu.
Dube said the club was aware that the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League leading scorer's contract would be running out at the end of the year, but said he would not like to lose the Young Warriors striker who is reportedly eyeing
a move to an unnamed club in Sweden.
"All efforts will be made to try and entice him to stay," Dube said. However, the fact that Bosso still owe the striker an undisclosed amount of money from his signing-on fees could be a stumbling block.
