Some Dynamos players were paid to throw away the Cup final against Harare City played over the weekend, Dembare Dotcoms reported.

In a scandal that is likely to tear the Dembare camp apart inside sources revealed that some players received khakhi envelopes and the technical team got wind of the dealings and are breathing heavily down the involved players necks.

Such players, the source revealed, will be dropped for this weekends League tie against Caps United.

Harare City are the new Chibuku Super Cup champions after two goals from Francesco Zekumbawire and William Manondo gave them a deserved victory over fading giants Dynamos in an action-packed final at the National Sports Stadium.

The win automatically gives Harare City the right to represent the country in the African Confederations Cup next year.

Dynamos coach Tonderayi Ndiraya thinks his team deserved to be in Pan African football but is blaming too many missed scoring opportunities.

Ndiraya says from the look of things Dynamos might end up without anything to show for their effort in 2015.
