HIGHLANDERS' hitman Knox Mutizwa, who is in South Africa for trials with topflight side Bidvest Wits, will feature in this evening's friendly between the Clever Boys and Free State Stars after coach Gavin Hunt expressed his desire to see him in a match situation for the second time.
The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League's Golden Boot winner played his first full game for Wits against a Vodacom League side on Wednesday and scored an incredible four goals.
Mutizwa, who is among the favourites to be named Soccer Star of the Year in Harare this evening, will now miss the ceremony as he is only expected to return home tomorrow afternoon.
"I'm no longer coming. Coach Hunt said he wants to use me in tomorrow's game against Free State Stars so I will miss the Soccer Stars' banquet," said Mutizwa last night.
He said the coaches have already expressed their satisfaction with his passing and skill.
"I've been working hard since my arrival," said Mutizwa, who is expected to arrive in Bulawayo ahead of the epic Easycall Cup semi-final clash against bitter rivals Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
Mutizwa has described the encounter against Dynamos as a must-win tie for Bosso.
"We need this cup and we must have it," he said.
