Highlanders' midfielder King Nadolo could be heading for trials with a South African premier league club, with the former league champions having been notified of the developments.
Chief executive officer, Ndumiso Gumede confirmed the club was aware Nadolo's manager Gibson Mahachi was organising the player's trip to South Africa.
Sources have indicated the young sensation could be heading to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mahachi has, in recent times, facilitated a move for another Highlanders star, Knox Mutizwa, who is joining South Africa's Bidvest Wits in July
"There are reports that a South African Premiership club is interested in the player. At the moment, nothing has been put in writing to us and all we know is that his manager is handling the issue," Gumede said.
Nadolo's type of play fits the Super Diski, as the Absa Premiership is known, where emphasis is on skill and ball artistry.
The youngster was introduced to first team football at Bosso by former coach Kelvin Kaindu towards the end of the 2014 season and quickly became a darling to the Highlanders faithful.
He has never looked back since and was one of the team's outstanding players last season, where he caught the eye with his dribbling skills.
Nadolo has been singled out by new Highlanders coach Elroy Akbay as one of the players that has impressed him in the short time that he has been at Highlanders.
