Highlanders FC made lightweight of new boys Ngezi Platinum as they drilled four goals with a single reply.
 
Prince Dube was the toast of the day as he grabbed a brace  and  Eric Mudzingwa and Rahman Kutsanzira adding one each at Baobab Stadium in Mhondoro growth point.

Ngezi Platinum pulled one back and missed a penalty.

In Bulawayo two well executed first half goals by How Mine buried Caps United at Luveve Stadium in Bulawayo.

Charles Sibanda and Qard Amin wonder strikes condemned visitors to their first defeat of 2016 campaign.

Sibanda was first to display his scoring ability with a lovely volley inside the box in the 26th minute.

Then Amin had his turn in the 33rd with a well taken free kick just aside the box.

Caps United had rare attempt on goal throughout the game.

However, they pulled one back with 10 minutes left through Abasi Amidu.
