Malawi national soccer team- Flames of Malawi are reportedly stranded at the Harare International Airport.
The Flames arrived in the country to square off with the Warriors on Sunday.
Reports reaching Bulawayo24.com are of the fact that no single ZIFA official was on hand to receive the Flames.
By 3pm, the Malawians where sill holed up in the Airport Lounge.
Malawi coach Ernest Mtawali was in Zimbabwe on Tuesday on a football spying mission ahead of the Sunday encounter.
The Warriors are seeking a victory that could end their agony of 10 years waiting to dine with the big boys at the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) table.
For Malawi, who are at the foot of Group L with two points, the match against Zimbabwe will shape their future.
