Female assistant referee accused of favouring Highlanders

A Rusape based female assistant referee Varidzo Mushonga has been accused by Mutare City of favouring Highlanders after she disallowed their 'geniune' goal.
The game ended in a nill all draw.
Reports say Mutate City player Stephen Sibanda received a cross from Kudakwashe Gurure and headed the ball into the visitors nets.
Match referee Jimmy Makwenda pointed at the centre in the 75th minute indicating a goal leading to wild celebrations from Mutare City fans.
But their joy was short-lived as Mushonga raised her flag pointing an offside position against Sibanda, giving lifeline to the visitors.
The result did not go down well with a section of the home fans who protested and wanted to "deal with" Mushonga's, accusing her of sabotaging the team.
