Highlanders FC finally put to an end it's uncharacteristic six-match winless streak by overpowering a ten men How Mine at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
Veteran Eric Mudzingwa opened the scoring through a 33th penalty and Allan Gahadzikwa added the second deep into first half stoppage time.
The losing streak dates back to July 1 when they fell one nil to Caps United.
Highlanders now have 35 points.
However, the game of the day was at the Colliery where Hwange and visiting Triangle played out to an eight goal thriller.
