Zim martial arts star wins gold medal in China

Dereck Jere, Zimbabwe's martial arts star has won a gold medal at the Beijing Shaolin Wushu Tournament in China.
Jere raised the country's flag high as he won a gold medal and a trophy in the China versus Africa challenge.
Jere said hard work always rewards and with time, Zimbabwe will become a little China in terms of Kungfu.
"I feel awesome with such a great achievement," said Jere.
Jere was the only one who represented Zimbabwe's Martial Arts Association at the 2011 World Cup Beijing International Arts Culture of Gongfu Youth Exchange Conference of Wushu Festival.
Other African countries who took part at the Beijing Shaolin Wushu Tournament include Uganda, Kenya, Malawi and Tanzania.
