Jefferies powers to victory in Italy

Top Zimbabwean motor racing driver Axcil Jefferies again hogged the limelight this time in Europe where he finished 1st and 2nd at the Lamborghini Monza Circuit at the weekend.
Jefferies laid another significant marker in his growth as one of the top drivers after claiming first position on the Lamborghini Trofeo standings following round 1 of racing in Italy.
In their European debut race Jefferies and his partner Rik Breukers powered to first position.
Breukers and Jefferies came out tops with a time of 50:35.024.
On Sunday (yesterday), Jefferies and Breukers were a touch slower than Saturday's performance but a second place finish was enough to thrust the duo at the summit of the Super Trofeo standings after round 1 of action at the Monza Circuit in Italy.
Despite it being the ninth edition of the Super Trofeo championship the debutants immediately made their presence felt setting the stage for an exciting championship.
The Zimbabwean motor racing sensation and his Dutch partner will now be heading to England for the second round of the Super Trofeo championship in Silverstone.
