Horse suits, made by Australian company Hidez, are to help horses recover from travel and strenuous exercise
The Australian equestrian team have suited and booted their horses ahead of the summer spectacle to keep them in prime condition.

The full-body compression and recovery suits will help the animals recover from strenuous exercise and excessive travel as they prepare for this summer's Games.

Designer Matthew Spice claim they help reduce vibration during travel and aids blood flow which in turn reduces muscle soreness and speeds recovery after a big event.

Stuart Tinney, who won Olympic gold in equestrian for Australia in Sydney 2000, said: "I am confident it helps the horses muscles relax and recover after exercise.

"We are now preparing our Olympic horses for London and incorporating the suits in our management programme."

And the shoes look fab too.
