New Zealander Marina Erakovic and her women's tennis doubles partner Cara Black of Zimbabwe are through the quarter-finals of the Madrid Open following a second straight sets win.
The unseeded pair were too good for the wildcard duo of Serb Jelena Jankovic and German Mirjana Lucic-Baroni on Tuesday, winning 6-3, 6-0.
They served more impressively than their opponents, as was the case in Monday's first-round win over Frenchwoman Alize Cornet and Italian Francesca Schiavone.
Their quarter-final opponents will be found from the second-round match between Czech Republic top seeds Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka and the unseeded pair of Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova and Italian Flavia Pennetta.
Erakovic failed to advance through qualifying to the main singles draw at the 4 million euro clay court event.
