Zimbabwean athletes dominate SA's Two Oceans Marathon

Mike Fokoroni of Zimbabwe has won the 56km Two Oceans Marathon held in Cape Town.

He finished in a time of 3:13:36.

Fokoroni was followed Collen Makaza in 3:14:48 with 2015 winner Motlokoa Nkhabutlane in third in a time of 3:16:25.

The women's race was won by defending champion Caroline Wöstmann in a time of 3:44:44. She was followed home by Tanith Maxwel and Amelework Bosho.

Earlier, Namakoe Nkhasi won the men's half-marathon in a time of 1:03:38.

The women's half-marathon was won by Irvette van Zyl. She completed the 21km route in a time of 1:13:14.
