Kenya loses out to Zimbabwe as CAR Sevens host

Zimbabwe is set to host the Confederation off Africa Rugby Sevens championships.
Kenya had expressed interest in hosting the tournament but the continental body awarded it to Zimbabwe
The tournament will be hosted at the Harare Sports Club between November 29-30 and will feature 12 countries.
The countries invited include Kenya, Uganda, Tunisia, Nigeria, Madagascar, Namibia, Botswana, Senegal, Zambia, Ivory Coast, South Africa and hosts Zimbabwe.
Kenya Rugby Union chairman Mwangi Muthee said they have not received any official communication from CAR on why they gave the event to Zimbabwe.
