Africom Zimbabwe Open suspended due to weather conditions

The second round of the Africom Zimbabwe Open was suspended at 08h25 this morning after constant rain and dangerous weather situations settled in at Royal Harare Golf Club.
The course has already experienced large amounts of rain over the last couple of days leading to the course now being waterlogged. Many of the greens are now saturated with puddles and the weather has in fact worsened.
Tournament director, Gary Todd had only one word for the state of the course: "Flooded!"
He did however say afterwards that once the rain subsides the greens won't take long to drain, but some of the bunkers are going to be an issue along with some standing water on the rest of the course.
