Caps United crowned 2016 PSL champions

Caps United were crowned 2016 Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions after a second minute strike by Simba Nhivi was all but enough to hand the Green Machine their first title in 11 years.

Needing a win to land the PSL crown, Makepekepe maintained their discipline and managed to safeguard their second minute goal.

Elsewhere FC Platinum finished second after a 3-nil win over Tsholotsho FC.

At Rufaro Stadium Chicken Inn edged Dynamos 3-2 while Highlanders overcame Hwange 3-nil.
