Zifa president Phillip Chiyangwa has said he has secured sponsorship for the Warriors trip to the Africa's flagship football tournament, the African Cup of Nations in Gabon in January.
However, he would not disclose the identity of the sponsor as he dined with journalists to mark his first anniversary as head of local football.
"I must thank the sponsor whom I am not going to divulge for coming in at that crucial moment of our journey to Gabon 2017" Chiyangwa is quoted by Zifa's official twitter account, @online_zifa.
Chiyangwa said the Kalisto Pawusa coached side would have several friendly matches ahead of Afcon.
"We have a number of preparatory matches lined-up for the Warriors but we stand guided by the needs of the technical team.
"Cote d'Ivoire on the 26th of December then we have to finalise on possible games with Cameroon, Gabon, S A, Mali & @Libya_FA in January" he said.
The Warriors played a friendly against Tanzania in November but there have been calls for tougher opposition to adequately prepare to face Senegal, Tunisia and Algeria.
