Callisto Pasuwa, the Warriors coach, has said the underdog tag should not deter his players during the final leg of their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.
Zimbabwe are in the Group B which also includes Senegal, Algeria and Tunisia and the tournament will run from January 14 to February 5 in Gabon.
"So far so good. We have been covering some areas where we felt we were coming short. If we put everything in order maybe we can go and pull out a surprise. We need these boys to have the right attitude," said Pasuwa.
Matthew Rusike who concluded a three-year deal with giants CS Sfaxien in Tunisia is with the team and Billiat will join them in Cameroon.
Zimbabwe will play their last preparatory match against Cameroon on Tuesday and Pasuwa will use this to gauge their level of preparedness for the tournament.
Pasuwa has named a squad which will be led by Willard Katsande but they will play against Algeria without their midfield wizard Nakamba who was penalised for the yellow cards he picked during the qualifiers.
