Zimbabwe Warriors coach Callisto Pasuwa has said they have picked up crucial lessons to take back home after losing to Tunisia in Libreville.
Pasuwa also acknowledged they were punished because of the mistakes they committed as a team.
"It was disappointing to concede quick goals despite having addressed the issue in out team meetings. Tunisia is an experienced side and I told my players to be cautious but we had problems of how we start the game as we collapsed after twenty minutes in all the three games we played."
"Our level of concentration was not good and we made mistakes and we were punished," Pasuwa told supersport.com .
On why they played differently against Algeria but failed to repeat the same fete against Senegal and Tunisia Pasuwa reiterated the issue of concentration.
"In the first game we played with so much self belief and determination but against Senegal and Tunisia we lost concentration at a crucial moment we lacked a compact defence and power play as some of my boys chickened out in duels though we picked crucial lessons that will help us in the future."
On the presence of Knowledge Musona who scored against Tunisia Pasuwa rued the absence of the player in their first two games.
"Musona's absence was hugely felt after he was injured in the first game but you can see he was effective upon his return and that means he would have been very important "
On his player Khama Billiat catching the attention of top clubs in Europe Pasuwa spoke in the affirmative
"Billiat was one of my players that played very well in the tournament and I would be happy to see him make a move to Europe that would be very important for Zimbabwe since he has what it takes," Pasuwa concluded.
