Zimbabwe Warriors' attacker Khama Billiat has acknowledged that the team failed to maintain concentration leading to the two losses against Senegal and Tunisia at the Afcon in Gabon.
Billiat also intimated that mistakes had caused the team to be eliminated, but added that they were going home with important lessons on how to play in such a tournament as Afcon.
"It was a tough game and once again lack of concentration cost us the game. We had talked about this as a team after our two games but we repeated the same mistakes against Tunisia."
"We could have done better in the first 15 minutes which are very crucial but we have been conceding goals, thus finding ourselves in a very difficult position and we found ourselves in the same problems against Tunisia," Billiat told supersport.com .
"We are however taking positive lessons and we will go back to our clubs and be honest to ourselves and next time maybe we will play much better," he added.
On the interest from many clubs after his great performance in the tournament, Khama Billiat was forthright.
"I will go back to my club since I am still contracted and committed to them, then we can talk about my future and we can see what they say about my future and if there is a way forward we can then decide," he concluded.
