Highlanders climbed to the top of Castle Premiership league log as it romped to victory at Barbourfields Stadium against Ngezi Platinum thanks to a Simon Munawa goal with 15 minutes left to play.
The win saw Erol Akbay side leapfrogged Ngezi to amass 12 points against 10 for the visitors.
The victory was Highlanders second in a row after dispatching Tsholotsho in Beitbridge on Wednesday.
In Harare, Dynamos became the first team to hand Prophet Walter Magaya's side Yadah Stars a defeat at Morris Deport.
The former champions got their only goal through Ocean Mushure in the 35th minute of the first half.
After five games, Dynamos has only managed to score four goals and conceding four.
Elsewhere, Hwange again lost at home to Chicken In by a one goal to nil and Shabani beat Tsholotsho one nil.
