HIGHLANDERS believe the key to success in the coming matches will be to avoid being predictable.

For that reason, striker Prince Dube had to come from the bench and grab a crucial goal in a 2-1 win over Bantu Rovers.

Bosso, on 17 points, are three points behind log leaders Black Rhinos.

"We needed more midfielders in that game against Bantu and in a way that is why we had to keep Prince on the bench. It was tactical on our part and we also considered the last game when we could not score goals.

"He came in at an important stage of the game and did much better than the last game. We were playing against a good team," coach Erol Akbay told H-Metro.

Akbay said with each opponent, they needed to be different.

"We needed to be in control of the game and with more midfielders, you are able to do that. The important thing is to collect three points and now we look at our next opponent. They will not be the same and we have to try and adjust," he said.

Bosso remain one of the favourites for the league title.

"The other clubs like ZPC and Ngezi Platinum are very strong. It is not an easy league at all. We have to try and be at our best, play good football and win our matches," he said.

The Bosso coach also praised Erick Mudzingwa.

"What is important is that he is a player that reads the game well and his timing is good. So defensively, we will know we are okay. Sometimes it is not really about the speed but being intelligent and knowing when to make a move," he said.
