Caps United registered a massive 2-1 victory over visiting USM Alger of Algeria in a Caf Champions League Group B clash at the National Sports Stadium today.

Ronald Chitiyo was the hero for the Zimbabwean champions as he grabbed a brace to stun the visitors.

The match was pointing to a draw only for Chitiyo to dance his way inside the crowded USM Alger box to slot home with 10 minutes of regulation time left.

Caps United had raced to  16th-minute lead from a well-placed low strike inside the box by Chitiyo.

However, Ayouba  Abdellaoui equalised with  a header from a free kick in the 67th minute

In the 80th minute, Chitiyo scored his second for the day.

Both sides opened the first half missing several chances.

However, in the second half frustration crept in into the visitors as their strikers took aim at goal miles away from Caps United goal area.

Caps United came into the game after having lost in the opening Group B match against Zamalek of Egypt in Alexandria almost two weeks ago.

On the other hand, USM Alger won their first match 3-1 against Al Ahli Tripoli.
