TRIANGLE coach Taurai Mangwiro believes Highlanders are not as strong as they used to be and beating them at Barbourfields is a big possibility.
Mangwiro said his only fear though was the safety of his players after recent incidences of violence at Barbourfields and Mandava.
Triangle come face to face with Bosso at BF on Sunday.
"They are not the Highlanders of yesteryear. Yes they have been winning some games but they are far from being team we can fear.
"We are not intimidated going into that game and we believe as things stand we have what it takes to stand our ground against any team now," Mangwiro said.
"If anything, what we fear for is the safety of our players because recent incidences have been disturbing and there should be nothing of that sort in our football.
"In the field of play I believe we will match them and we are not intimidated at all. Triangle in the past have had great battles with Highlanders at Barbourfields and we are looking forward to the game."
Triangle have not had a good start to the season with just 12 points collected from 11 games.
Mangwiro however believes that now they have settled well and ready to win their matches.
"We are not longer making a lot of chances in our starting team unless there are injuries. The only challenge we have faced is that we have been allowing our opponents to take the lead and we end up chasing the game and fighting for a point.
"We have to try and change that situation and change draws into wins. In the last game you could see that there was that zeal to try and win the game."
Although Highlanders remain one of the favourites for the title this season, the recent violence at their matches could impact negatively on the progress of the team.
On Sunday their game against FC Platinum at Mandava was abandoned in time add on after fans turned violence following a penalty awarded to the home side which leveled the scores.
Bosso have since been summoned to appear before the PSL disciplinary committee over that incident.
This is against the back ground that they also appeared before the same DC over their abandoned Dynamos games and a judgement for that case has since been reserved.
