(Kevin Moyo 34', Chinyengetere 84'. Amidu 90+1') vs (Macheka 9')
FC PLATINUM outplayed fading Harare giants Dynamos with a convincing 3-1 win at Mandava on Wednesday as action resumes after a two-week break in the Zimbabwe Premier League.
The result saw FC Platinum shooting to the top of the log.
The showdown in Zvishavane represented the headline fixture on matchday 18.
The Norman Mapeza coached side completed a double on Dynamos as they beat them 1-0 on matchday one at the National Sports Stadium to mark the start of a woeful run which threatened to wreck their title prospects with the season still in its infancy.
Dynamos were the first to go ahead as early as the 9th minute when a Denver Mukamba free kick was headed in past Mhari by Macheka.
FC Platinum levelled matter in the 34th minute through Kevin Moyo who was allowed to head the ball in unchallenged. In the 83rd minute, former Dynamos man Chinyama gave his former paymaster a scare as he headed onto the cross bar from a Moyo free kick, however, a minute later Chinyengetere score for Norman Mapeza's men. After 90 minutes of play, 3 minutes were added and Brett Amidu put the final nail in Dembare's coffin.
