Junior coach, Patridge Muskwe has encouraged ZIFA to ensure coaching appointments for junior teams are based on one's knowledge of junior football.
Muskwe, who is also Friendly Academy Director, criticised the appointment of Premier Soccer League (PSL) coaches to lead junior national teams, adding that ZIFA needs to make use of coaches whose focus is junior football oriented.
Muskwe raised his concerns on the sidelines off an under 21 junior football tournament held at Prince Edward High School in Harare.
DC Academy won the tournament, beating Dzivarasekwa Academy 3-1 on penalties after the match had ended 1-all.
