Highlanders face Bantu Rovers in a league match at Barbourfields Stadium today. Bosso coach Elroy Akbay hopes his fans will not turn violent no matter the outcome and blamed them for his team's last loss to Harare City.
The match against Harare City had to be stopped for about 15 minutes after the Bosso fans had turned violent.
"I am not happy with the Bosso supporters because when they started acting violent we were pressing on the opponent."
"I have to admit their actions were not favourable to the outcome of the game"
"After the whole incident our concentration was gone and we conceded two goals and at the end of the day we lost to Harare City."
"I still don't know the real reason behind the drama but one thing for sure it was not in our favour to do that, all I know is we lost opportunities we had created due to the confusion."
Turning to today's match, Akbay said, "It is not going to be an easy game for us and we have to make sure we capitalise on scoring chances but we will go for it."
"We have to see how far we can go despite the injuries in our camp but hopefully we are gunning to finish in the top five or maybe top eight as a second option but right now we just need to focus"
Bosso must work on replacing injured players who have been crucial in their previous matches.
He added, "Four players including Tendai Ndlovu, Rahman Kutsanzira and King Nadolo have injuries so we will be working on how we can do well despites their absence."
"The boys will fight for a win because we have lost many points. We have a great need to recover from the setback to gain confidence and continue doing our best in our next matches."
