The FC Platinum - El Mereikh CAF Champions League tie which was initially set for Mandava Stadium has been moved to Rufaro Stadium in Harare after CAF insisted that Zvishavane cannot host the game as there is no hotel for the team to stay.

The match however remains this Saturday.

ZIFA revealed that CAF had refused to accept FC Platinum's sacrifice to charter El Mereikh to Zvishavane.

El Merreikh had also worsened the situation by citing they cannot afford to have a hectic flight schedule that would have seen them fly to Masvingo and then to Zvishavane and back.

Meanwhile, Platinum's rivals El Merreikh arrived in the country this afternoon with a 33 member contingent.
