Nigeria's U-20 women's team, the Falconets, proved too tough for Zimbabwe's Young Mighty Warriors whom they spanked 3-0 in a FIFA World Cup qualifier at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
Ordega Francisca drew the first blood for the home side as she struck in the 28th minute while Esther Sunday made it 2-0 a minute after resumption to throw the scanty crowd of fans at the stadium into jubilation, reports KATE OBODO.
The Falconets continued to push for goals to make the return leg a formality and their efforts paid off in the 78th minute when Henry Stella's strike beat the Zimbabwean goalkeeper for the third goal.
