Dembare, Chapungu in dull draw

Dynamos had Simbarashe Chinani and the crossbar to thank as Chapungu threatened to embarrass the fading giants at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon, DeMbare DotComs can report.
The fifteen plus minutes of the first half witnessed one shot on target by former Dynamos midfielder Rapheal Manuvire. He found himself with acres of space inside DeMbare's penalty box but his well-taken shot was saved by Chinani.
Makaha failed to complete the opening half due to injury and was stretchered off and replaced by Mukambi.
Dynamos managed to create a handful of half Chances with the best Falling to Kumwala after a Denver cross was directed into the path of Kumwala by Brett but an alert Kwaramba rescued the situation for Chapungu before Kumwala could fire in.
In the second half Chinani saved a one on one with Ian Nyoni before flying to tip over a Xolisani Ncube attempt.
Philip Marufu and Tavarwisa also had good attempts but they found the Dynamos goalkeeper unyielding.
The best Chance for Chapungu was when Philip Marufu's headed effort from a corner crushed against the crossbar and rebounded back into play with Chinani well beaten. Dynamos scrambled to clear.
On the other hand Dynamos hardly found openings in Chapungu defense. The only time they did so in second half was when Denver and Nkhata linked up to release Kumwala. Kumwala rounded off the keeper and with the angle tight he crossed but an unmarked Saunyama headed wide.
At the end both sides settled for a draw.
