Dynamos reached the quarterfinals of the 2018 Chibuku Super Cup after edging out Bulawayo Chiefs 1-0 in a match played at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.
Yadah, Chapungu and Herentals also progressed to the next round to join Harare City who won on Friday.
Tawanda Macheke scored the winner for the Glamour Boys on the hour, heading in Phakamani Dube's cross.
Chiefs got a couple of chances throughout the game but failed to bring something out of it. Captain Gracious Muleya could have scored the first goal of the game, but Dembare keeper Simbarashe Chinani had a slight touch on his effort, and the ball went to hit the crossbar.
Chinani followed with another brilliant stop, denying Perfect Chikwende in a one-on-one situation moments after the half-hour mark.
The visitors were unlucky again when Stanely Ngala's header went straight to the woodwork in the 75th minute before substitute Dylan Chivandire blasted over his effort in front of an empty net.
Dynamos also created some opportunities, especially in the second half. The biggest miss came in the 72nd minute when Denver Mukamba who was the captain went off target from an unmissable position.
The game ended 1-0 in favour of the Glamour Boys.
At Mandava Stadium, Chapungu knocked FC Platinum out of the tournament for the second successive year following a 5-4 win after penalty shoot-outs.
The game had ended 2-2 at regulation time.
Osbourne Mukuradare opened the scoring in the 12th minute to give Waru Waru the lead, but Kelvin Moyo equalised with a header ten minutes later.
Elvis Moyo could have sent Pure Platinum Play in front early in the second half unfortunately, his effort hit the upright. Nonetheless, Mkhokheli Dube found the back of the net on minute 57 to give the home team the cushion.
The advantage, however, shortlived as Chapungu restored parity through Edmore Muzanemhamo four minutes later.
The game ended in a stalemate and the Chapungu won the match 5-4 on penalties.
The encounter between Ngezi Platinum and Herentals played at Baobab Stadium was also decided on penalties after it ended 1-1 at full-time.
The Students won the tie 4-3 after the shootout.
