Mhofu bounces back as Leopards head coach

FORMER Warriors mentor Sunday "Mhofu" Chidzambwa has bounced back as head coach of South African Premiership soccer side Black Leopards.
This came after the Polokwane-based side parted ways with their Serbian coach Vladislav Heric on Monday after a spate of poor results. In fact, Black Leopards are hovering in the relegation zone after Heric failed to change their
fortunes after he, ironically, took over the hot seat from Chidzambwa at the beginning of the season.
And according to reports from South Africa, Heric handed in his resignation letter on Monday, paving the way for Chidzambwa to return to the fold as the team's head coach but on an interim basis.
Chidzambwa was working as the club's technical director before the latest developments.
KickOff.com contacted a Leopards official, who opted to remain anonymous, and he confirmed that the Serbian has indeed left the club after making demands that the management felt were unreasonable.
"He resigned last night (on Monday night), so he is no longer coach of the club. At one stage he wanted us to buy 10 players and that was unreasonable," he said.
Heric could not be immediately reached for comment.
