Zimbabwe Warriors drop on FIFA world rankings

The Zimbabwe national soccer team's 1-0 defeat to Guinea has seen them drop two places on the FIFA rankings to land on 106th position in the latest rankings released by FIFA in Zurich Switzerland.

The Warriors previously occupied position 104 in May.

On the African continent, the Warriors were occupying the 25th position in the month of May, but the defeat saw the team dropping one place to land in the 26th position.

Spain maintained pole position on their world ranking ahead of the Euro 2012 showpiece which commences this Friday.
 
Uruguay moved one place up to occupy 2nd position with Germany dropping to 3rd. Netherlands are 4th while Portugal occupy 5th position.

Cote d'Ivoire maintained pole position on the African continent and Ghana also remained unchanged on 2nd. Algeria is 3rd with Libya moving three places up to occupy 4th position.
