JOHANNESBURG. - Nyasha Mushekwi's agent is confident that the Zimbabwe international striker will secure a move to German club, Greuther Furth.

The 25-year-old former CAPS United striker passed a medical with the Bundesliga outfit last week but flew back to South Africa to join up with his Mamelodi Sundowns team-mates.

Mushekwi then went on to play a brief role in Sundowns' 3-2 defeat at the hands of Moroka Swallows in an MTN8 semi-final, second leg tie at Dobsonville stadium last Sunday.

The striker rose from the substitutes' bench to grab Sundowns' second goal but it remains to be seen whether it was his parting gift to Johan Neeskens' side.

Now his agent, Ralph Nkomo, is currently in the process of sorting out the final parts of the deal with Furth before flying into South Africa to start discussions with Sundowns.

Nkomo told Soccer Laduma that he was "hopeful of concluding a deal".

"I'm waiting for the President, we're hoping to conclude things this morning and I'm hoping that Sundowns won't stand in the boy's way. I don't think they will."

It is thought that Mushekwi's deal could be completed as early as tomorrow, should Furth offer the R10 million that Sundowns are after.
