Soccer: Transfer window closes

The transfer window deadline closes at Friday midnight with no deals for Zimbabwean soccer players who were expected to make last minute transfers in Europe and South Africa.
Tafadzwa Rusike was expected to move to Belgian club Oud Hesterlee Leuven but according to the club's media manager, Mark Meyer, the former Caps United midfielder will be staying put at Ajax Cape Town.
Another player who had been linked with a European move is Mamelodi Sundowns' Nyasha Mushekwi who recently underwent a medical test at German outfit Greuther Furth.
When contacted for comment, the Brazillians' Spokesperson, Kabelo Mosito said negotiations were ongoing but no agreement has been made.
Matthew Rusike's move to Kaizer Chiefs was still hanging in the balance with South Africa's Premier Soccer League Dispute Resolution Chamber still to pass a judgement on whether Rusike is a free agent or a Jomo Cosmos player. Although a judgement was expected to be passed this Friday, the PSL's legal team had not yet done so.
A decision in favour of Jomo Cosmos would see the player remaining at Ezenkosi, while a judgement in Rusike's favour would see the Young Warriors' Midfielder moving to Kaizer Chiefs.
Meanwhile, former Zimbabwe national soccer team Captain, Benjani Mwaruwari says he is in no rush to find a club but hinted he could possibly join up with SuperSport United next week.
