FIVE of Dynamos' new players attended their first training session at Raylton Sports Club on Monday as the league champions began preparations for the Caf Champions League.
The players include the Monomotapa pair of Russell Madamombe and goalkeeper Artwell Mukandi and Motor Action defender Morris Kadzola.
The other two are veteran midfielder Stephen Alimenda, who has seen duty at Mwana Africa, Highlanders, Caps United and Hardbody, and Chicken Inn's Sydney Linyama.
The Harare giants play Lesotho Correctional Services in the preliminary round next month and should they win the two-legged tie, they will travel to either Tunisia or Libya before a second round hurrah against African champions Al Ahly.
Coach Kalisto Pasuwa was excited about the turnout of 19 players from the 25 he registered for the Champions League.
Midfielder Denver Mukamba left for South Africa on Sunday for medicals at Absa Premiership side Bidvest Wits while striker Rodreck Mutuma is expected to resume training on Tuesday, officials said.
The Hwange pair of Aaron Katebe and Francesco Zikumbawire have not yet concluded their deals but are expected to join the Harare side by the end of the week.
Ugandan junior international Boban Ziruntusa, who was playing for Northern Region Division One side Twalumba last season, is also yet show up.
